Micronics Technologies, Inc. offers rapid prototypes using Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) or polyjet technologies. Either way, we can create prototypes in hours, not days or weeks.
If FDM is what your project requires, your prototype will be constructed with ABS plastic, a well-known tough material great for functional parts. We can produce parts as large as 23” x 19” x 23” with x-y accuracy typically +/- .005”. For more information please click on the FDM technology link at the left of this page.
If your part has fine details or will be used as a pattern for a silicone mold, we recommend letting us build your part using Objet’s polyjet technology. Our Eden 333/350 machine is capable of creating parts with a resolution measured in microns. Not only can we produce great rigid parts with polyjet technology, we can also create parts using Objet’s new rubber-like TangoPlus material.
